About the Practice
Spay and Neuter Syracuse is a 501(c)(3) non-profit clinic founded in 2005 that provides low-cost spay and neuter surgeries for dogs and cats, with a focus on animals from low-income households, shelter animals, and feral cats in the Central New York region. The practice operates 3-5 days per week and performs between 18 and 35 surgeries daily, guided by a mission to address pet overpopulation through high-quality sterilization procedures and public education about responsible animal ownership. The organization is managed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors with diverse professional backgrounds who direct strategic operations and fundraising efforts.
