Pet Wellness Center of Southern Illinois

Pet Wellness Center of Southern Illinois, established in 1988, is an AAHA-accredited practice in Effingham led by Dr. Nanci Wood Huels and Dr. Jean Czemski, both Illinois-licensed veterinarians with over 30 years of experience. The practice provides acupuncture, nutritional therapy, and physical therapy and rehabilitation services for dogs, cats, horses, and exotic animals, emphasizing preventative care and nutrition as foundations for animal health. In addition to these integrative modalities, the center operates a full-service small animal hospital with in-house laboratory, digital radiology, ultrasound, and surgical services.
