Country Doctor Veterinary Hospital in New Tripoli serves dogs and cats with an emphasis on comfort-centered care and personalized treatment plans. The practice offers physical therapy and rehabilitation services, including canine physical rehabilitation through Dr. Kelly Trexler-Wertman, who was the first certified rehabilitation veterinarian in the Lehigh Valley, and operates a dedicated rehabilitation center with an underwater treadmill. The AAHA-accredited practice is owned by Dr. Kimberly Kish (1992 graduate, University of Pennsylvania) and Dr. Kelly Trexler-Wertman (2004 graduate, Louisiana State), both partners since 2008 and owners since 2021, with support from Dr. Visintainer. The hospital has served the Lehigh County community since its current location opened in 2005, building on a legacy that began in 1980.
