Pathways to Healing integrates Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine with Western veterinary approaches for dogs and cats, with a focus on restoring the body's natural balance. Dr. Lina McCain, who earned her DVM from UC Davis in 1993 and her Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist credential from the Chi Institute in 2005, combines acupuncture, herbal medicine, and nutritional therapy in her practice. She has been practicing small animal medicine on the San Francisco Peninsula since 1993 and has taught veterinary acupuncture at the Chi Institute since 2007.
