About the Practice

Dr. Ruth Lacey is a licensed veterinarian with focus on chiropractic care and food therapy. Chiropractic is provided for large and small animals - cats, dogs, horses, and FFA and 4H animals (sheep, goats, cattle, pigs, etc.). Food therapy (traditional Chinese veterinary medicine / TCVM) is provided for dogs and cats currently. Dr. Lacey may also recommend aromatherapy (health support with essential oils). No referral from your primary care veterinarian is needed. Additional holistic services are planned to be added (acupuncture, etc.). Dr. Lacey has a special interest in cats and is in process of earning her Cat Friendly Veterinarian (CVF) certificate from the American Association of Feline Practitioners. Office visits for small animals, haul in location for large animals, and farm calls or house calls are all offered in and around Wylie, Texas. For Virginia residents, virtual consultations are offered for food therapy. (Dr. Lacey holds veterinary licenses in Texas and Virginia.) Dr. Lacey does not offer general practice medical services or emergency services.
