Animal Wellness Center of Athens

Animal Wellness Center of Athens, founded in 2015 by Dr. Angela Dodd and Dr. Lisa Stacy, offers acupuncture, nutritional therapy, herbal medicine, and laser therapy alongside conventional veterinary services including surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine. The three veterinarians—Drs. Dodd, Stacy, and Samples, all UGA College of Veterinary Medicine graduates—treat dogs, cats, and exotic species, with particular expertise in preventive care, geriatric medicine, and ultrasound diagnostics. The practice emphasizes a collaborative relationship with the University of Georgia's Veterinary Teaching Hospital and provides boarding, behavioral counseling, and health certificates for travel.
